DAY 1: Saturday
Mindfulness as an individual and relational practice
Co-creating a trauma-informed space
Exploring being a compassionate witness
Engaging in compassionate listening
Exploring anchors during meditation
Witnessing self-talk vs. Believing self-talk
Mindfulness in Education
Exploring what gets in the way of presence
DAY 2: Sunday
Small group sharing
Tools to return to a place of presence
Applying mindfulness to your work-setting
Registered participants can earn 15 CEUs and 15 clock hours toward professional development units upon completion of the training.
Certificate of completion provided by Lewis and Clark College.
This course offers one semester hour for those interested in pursuing graduate credit. To receive credit, students will need to submit the following at the end of the training:
Completion of required reading assignment
A 3-page final paper reflecting on the required academic reading and their direct experience of mindfulness within the duration of the program.
