Practicing for PEACE
In these times so colored by hate and violence, how can we practice for peace? Standing for peace, in peace, as peace?
This simple act of turning towards our full experience is radically courageous. In turning towards our inner world we also embrace the outer world. It’s rooting us in our humanity at a time when external factors are so overwhelming that it’s difficult not to avoid, numb, or react. This July, we invite you to join us in Practicing for Peace.
When you register, you’ll receive access to three community events:
JULY 8: Virtual Community Practice 12:30-1:30pm PT
This hour-long meditation and discussion will be led by Peace in Schools Executive Director, Janice Martellucci.
JULY 19: International Self-Compassion Day
Join us and communities across the globe in practicing self-compassion. We’ll share resources for you to practice self-compassion at your own pace.
