Program Manager

Heath is honored to bring their passion and skills to Peace in Schools as the Program Manager for the Training Institute and the Mindful Studies Partnership program. They bring over 15 years of program management and coordinator experience, with specific experience in outdoor & experiential education, local food systems, and social justice & anti-racism work. Heath engages in a wide range of mindfulness practices and is most lit up by practices that involve movement, nature connection and finding those moments of true rest and stillness. These practices guide them in being a more loving and kind human, and are critical to their commitment to decolonization inside and out. They are stoked to be supporting young people in deepening their sense of both self and interconnection as a pathway to collective liberation. Outside of work, Heath enjoys dance, herbalism and all things plants, horror films, cuddling their cat, and getting nerdy about relational healing.
