Mindfulness Teacher & Lead Mentor

Hilda has been practicing mindfulness since 2001 and holds a Master of Arts degree in Ethics and Social Theory from the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, CA. Coming to mindfulness through the contemplative practices from their Catholic faith, Hilda is also a Lay Associate of the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary. They bring ten years of teaching experience in high schools, nine years of ministry experience and social justice work with young adults, and have been leading professional development workshops and trainings for educators since 2020. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Hilda is a second-generation Filipinx American and is an avid outdoors person with a deep love and reverence for the natural world.
