Janice Martellucci (she/her)

Janice Martellucci is an educator and non-profit leader focused on uplifting the agency and wellbeing of young people. Since 2015, she’s been an influencer and change-maker in mindfulness education, playing an integral role in designing and implementing the nation’s first, for-credit, semester-long mindfulness course in public high schools. Her work brings transformative mindfulness education to thousands of teens and educators every year. 

Janice has consistently been recognized for her achievements: in 2016 she was named a Skidmore Prize Winner for her rising nonprofit leadership; in 2018 the high school class she taught was studied in an award-winning research project; in 2020 she was featured as one of “The Doers: 25 trailblazers creating hope and inspiring us” by Business Insider. Most recently, she was a Keynote Speaker for Stanford University’s 2025 Contemplation by Design Summit. In the classroom and the community, Janice is a champion for youth and educator wellbeing.
